City of Hazlehurst - Southside Baptist Culvert Replacement RFP

The City of Hazlehurst ("City") is seeking sealed bids for the Southside Baptist Culvert Replacement project (Southside Baptist Church Lot, 35 Alma Hwy, Hazlehurst, GA 31539). The type of work expected to be performed is the removal and replacement of a 36" RCP culvert and concrete pad and headwalls. This project will be partially funded through FEMA's Public Assistance Program. Bids and all required documents must be submitted through the DFS Procurement Portal no later than Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. local time (EST). Late bids will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened and read on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Hazlehurst City Hall, 86 S Cromartie St, Hazlehurst, GA 31539. The award is scheduled for the City Council meeting on Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. (EST) at Hazlehurst City Hall. Bidders must submit a bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid price (bid bond, postal money order, certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit). Hard copies may be delivered to Hazlehurst City Hall, or a soft copy uploaded to the Portal. Proof of general and professional liability insurance must be uploaded with the bid. Work is expected to be completed within 60 days of contract award. Bids are valid for 60 calendar days after the deadline. All questions must be submitted through the Portal.
