Full Driver Shields
Milwaukee Transport Services, Inc. (“MTS”), operator of the Milwaukee County Transit System (“MCTS”) seeks Bids for the purchase of AROWGuard Full Driver Shield Barriers, OR approved equal. This bid uses a “brand name or equal” approach to define the performance or other salient characteristics of the property or services sought, as it is impractical or uneconomical to write a clear and accurate description of the technical requirements of the property to be acquired. MCTS will be the sole judge of whether an alternate brand bid is an approved equal to the brand name specified. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive, responsible bidder based on aggregate pricing for Shields and installation. MTS intends to use the results of this process to award an IDIQ contract with an initial term of 3 years and the option to extend for up to 2 additional one-year terms. MTS intends to make an initial purchase of 25 Shields with installation and reserves the right to purchase up to 220 additional Shields with installation over the term of the contract. MTS does not guarantee any minimum volume beyond the initial purchase.
