2026 Fire Hydrant Relocation - Wilmette Park District RFP

Description: The scope of work includes Base Bid - fire hydrant relocation: To saw-cut a section 220' long by 4' ft. wide of the asphalt parking lot to install a new 6" ductile iron fire line with new hydrant Aux valve. To excavate approx. 6' in depth cutting into the existing 8" main running north to south through the parking lot. Once necessary repairs are made area will be stone bedded and backfilled with compactable materials to finish grade. All necessary spoils to be hauled off site and disposed of properly. Work will be patched and sealed once completed.
