King County Water District No. 125 Resolution
The resolution revises and increases water meter installation charges to recover costs for materials, paving, labor, equipment, permitting, and administration. The revised charges account for different meter sizes and the jurisdiction in which the meter is installed, based on a report by Penhallegon and Associates Consulting Engineers (PACE). The charges vary depending on whether the meter is installed in the City of Tukwila, the Cities of SeaTac and in King County. The charge for the installation of water meters larger than one (1) inch in any jurisdiction shall be determined on a case-by-case basis based on the actual Installation Costs, permitting and other fees and costs incurred by the District plus fifteen percent (15%) overhead.
