The committee discussed and reviewed proposed changes to the Principal's evaluation process. They moved to recommend to the full board that the Board Chair appoint an individual member annually to conduct the performance evaluation, rather than having the entire committee perform it. This change was proposed to align the process with standard practices for other public school principals and to address concerns regarding the public visibility of the current evaluation procedure.
