Planning Board Planning Board Meeting
The Board discussed a site plan review application for a self-storage facility at 78 Wood Road. The applicant requested permission to replace existing decayed screening shrubs with a six-foot fence featuring privacy slats. The Board and city staff deliberated on the requirements for landscaping and screening, noting that previous approvals mandated plantings, which were not properly maintained. The discussion concluded with an agreement to allow the installation of the fence, provided it is accompanied by appropriate plantings and shade trees in accordance with city ordinances, and the applicant committed to maintaining the landscaping.
